Blog Post #3 Initial Problems

One week into 20% time, and I've already encountered problems. The relay system I originally proposed has proven to difficult to implement at this time, so I'm now going at it from a different angle. Instead of using the car, I'm scraping it completely. The Quadcopter, on its own, has plethora of possibilities exclusively for itself. It can be used by Powerline companies to investigate what is wrong with the line before sending a team to fix it. That line of thinking can be applied to any repair company with hard-to-reach objectives. It can still be used by the military, and the SWAT team is actually looking into this kind of technology for reconnaissance. Fire Fighters can use it to determine the source of the fire and the best way to combat it with the aerial view provided by the Quadcopter. Better yet, it can be used by the less-fortunate. Maybe there's a kid in the hospital right now who wants to go see the world, maybe explore a museum or two but can't, because he's too badly injured or in isolation due to a disease. Just one Quadcopter could rectify that and bring a smile to the downtrodden. Not only are the possibilities for this drone technology only limited by the extent of ideas the human mind can think up, but with this technology, we can make a real difference in the lives of others. We can help, we can bring a smile to the faces of the downtrodden. Most importantly, we can bring hope.
